Two fantastic weeks of diving with like minded people – Friday 3rd May to Friday 17th May 2013

The plan is to be shore based in El Gouna, a private city North of Hurghada which has it’s own infrastructure and you wouldn’t know that you were in Egypt if it were not for the continual sun and tropical sea.

The diving from El Gouna is different as it’s 22 kilometres north of Hurghada and this means that the four wrecks at Abu Nuhas are a daily dive as is the Rosalie Moller. We are also in reach of several other wrecks and some of them quite deep like the El Qumar Al Saudi El Misri and the Gulf Fleet 31.

One of the good things about wreck diving here is that most of them are on reefs so there’s something for everyone.

Last year the main accommodation was provided by renting private villas and apartments. This was very successful so we intend to try and do this again. Hopefully the accommodation will work out less than £130 per person per week.

Renting private villas means that we can keep costs down by self catering.

The diving should be first class as we will only go ahead if we have a totally exclusive boat. I’ll have prices for this in the next couple of weeks and obviously we’re looking for quality at a fair price and not the cheapest offer.  I can’t get a price until I have an idea on numbers so please if you’re thinking of coming let me know as soon as possible.

I have started a list and I will be asking for a £100 deposit in the near future.
